Leave for Serengeti National Park in the morning. There is a slight chance of seeing some wildlife along the portion of the Ngorongoro crater rim that we pass over on our journey. At the moment, one of Africa's seven natural wonders is the Serengeti. On a kopje, we'll pause for a delicious picnic lunch (rock outcropping). In order to complete the tour for the day, your game drive will continue into the Serengeti after lunch. The Serengeti Camp will make sure you have access to complete camping amenities. We will begin our day with an early morning game drive in central Serengeti after lunch we will depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologist Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution Late afternoon transfer to Simba Campsite where you will have dinner and overnight
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
We leave for Ngorongoro Crater after an early breakfast, traveling through the forested Ngorongoro Crater Highlands before reaching the rim of the crater. We'll descend into the crater, one of the world's most populated game areas and home to about 40,000 creatures. The big five — the lion, leopard, rare Black Rhino, buffalo, and elephants — are likely to be present here. We will also see flocks of Thomson's gazelle, zebra, and the big five mammals... Following a picnic lunch, we will resume our wildlife drive before leaving the crater and making our way to the Migombani Campsite, which is conveniently located near the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park, where we will spend the night.
