Perfect combo for real African Safari and enjoying varieties of activities in these Eastern Southern National parks. Mikumi National Park known for its widely varieties of animals including the big 5 and Nyerere National Park, former known as Selous Game Reserve, the biggest National Park in Africa with large concentration of animals and homeland the mighty Rufiji River offers boat rides tour and safari walks to its visitors.

Day 1 – Dar es Salaam – Mikumi

Pick up from Hotel in Dar es Salaam early morning 5am, drive to Mikumi National Park which will take us about 5 – 6 hours depending on the traffic. Hot breakfast will be served on the way. Arrive at Mikumi National Park check-in, and have a lunch break at the park. Start game drive late noon until evening 6pm. Heading to the selected hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Morning game drive & drive to Nyerere

Wake up, have breakfast at the hotel around 6:30 am, 2 – 3 hours of game drive at Mikumi then drive to Nyerere game reserve via Morogoro – Kisaki road for your overnight, depending on your time of arrival you will depart for evening boat safaris along Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at Nyerere game reserve selected lodge/hotel.

Day 3 – Full game drive & boat ride at Nyerere

Wake up early morning, have breakfast around 6:30am, full day game drive until 6pm, exploring the biggest game reserve in Africa which has abundant African mammals. Explore the beauty of Rufiji River with boat ride. Lunch take aways will be carried.

Day 4 – Nyerere game drive & transfer back to Dar es Salaam

Wake up early morning, have breakfast around 6:30am, you can choose nature walks where by you will be accompanied with a ranger for 1 - 2 hrs, or game drive until 11am, then after start driving back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped at the Hotel or taken to the Airport.
