Former known as Selous National Park; this is “the Land of the Mighty Rufiji”
This is the Largest Africa’s National Park, with staggering size of 30,893 Sq.km one of the world’s largest wildlife concentrations. Apart from hosting the famous “the Big 5” the park has the collection of wildlife in both diversity and abundance. Its closeness to Dar makes it an ideal place for visitors who don’t have a long time to spend on an extended safari itinerary.
Day 1 – Dar es Salaam - Nyerere
Pick up from Hotel in Dar es Salaam early morning 5am, drive to Nyerere National Park which will take us about 5 – 6 hours depending on the traffic. Hot breakfast will be served on the way. Arrive at Nyerere National Park check-in, lunch box will be served at the park. Start game drive late noon until evening 6pm. Heading to the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Full day game drive
Wake up early morning, have breakfast around 6:30am, start full day game drive until 5pm. Head over to the Hotel/Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Nyerere – Dar es Salaam
Wake up early morning, have breakfast around 6:30am, start morning game drive until 11am, then after start driving back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped at the Hotel or taken to the Airport.
