This is a perfect short combo that includes Safari and Hiking. Mikumi known for its widely varieties of animals including the big 5, Udzungwa Mountain will give you a physical challenge while enjoying its biodiversity when hiking to the famous Sanje Waterfall.

Day 1 – Dar es Salaam – Mikumi

Pick up from Hotel in Dar es Salaam early morning 5am, drive to Mikumi National Park which will take us about 5 – 6 hours depending on the traffic. Hot breakfast will be served on the way. Arrive at Mikumi National Park check-in, and have a lunch break at the park. Start game drive late noon until evening 6pm. Heading to the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Udzungwa Mountain Hike

Wake up early morning, have breakfast around 6:30am, drive to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park head office for about 1hr and 30mins for check in to start your full day Sanje circuit trail hike to the Sanje Waterfall. After the hike drive back for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Half day game drive, back to Dar es Salaam

Wake up early morning, have breakfast around 6:30am, start morning game drive until 11am, then after start driving back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped at the Hotel or taken to the Airport.
